The Khanenko Museum

The Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko National Museum of Arts holds the most important collection of Western and Eastern art in Ukraine. Based on the private collection of two Kyiv philanthropists, the museum features European paintings, icons, sculpture, prints, and decorative objects, along with rare pieces from Asia — Japanese woodblock prints, Chinese porcelain, Persian miniatures, and Islamic art. The carefully arranged displays help trace the evolution of styles and highlight the dialogue between East and West.
