Ukrainian Diaspora Museum
About the Ukrainian Diaspora Museum
Ukrainian Diaspora Museum tells the stories of millions of Ukrainians who left their homeland for different reasons but maintained a connection to it. You can see how emigrants built Ukrainian schools, cultural centers and communities around the world, preserving language, culture and the idea of independence.
The core of the exhibition includes letters, diaries, photographs and personal belongings of prominent emigrants, making the visit emotional and thoughtful, as history is presented through individual lives.
The museum is of interest to historians, people of Ukrainian origin living abroad and anyone who wants to understand how Ukrainian culture survived far from home.
