About Ukrainian House

Ukrainian House, also known as the “People’s House”, is one of Kyiv’s key art venues, promoting culture and contemporary ideas from both Ukrainian and international artists. The building on Khreshchatyk has witnessed many pivotal historical events. For example, during the Revolution of Dignity in 2014, it served as a warming shelter for protestors.

Today, it functions as an active cultural platform, hosting exhibitions, festivals, film screenings, music evenings, and events for both adults and children.

The Ukrainian House collection includes:

  • Over 1,200 graphic works and 600 pieces of traditional folk art, including embroidery, ceramics, weaving, and crystal
  • 460 artworks and a collection of sacred art from the 18th–20th centuries
  • 30,000 newspapers, 4,000 posters, and around 20,000 rare books in 90 languages

Be sure to stop by the bookstore, where you’ll find art albums, vinyl records, rare editions, postcards, and distinctive souvenirs not available in typical gift shops.

Tickets: from 120 UAH, depending on the exhibition.
