About Experimentarium Science Museum

Experimentarium is an interactive science museum in Kyiv where visitors can discover how science works through hands-on experiments. Also listed as Experimentanium Kyiv in some travel guides, the museum offers activities for both children and adults.

The museum has around 300 exhibits covering different areas of science, including optics, electromagnetism, acoustics and anatomy. Unlike in traditional museums, visitors are encouraged to touch, move and experiment with the displays.

You can explore how the human body works, create a tornado, experiment with sound, build a bridge and find your way through a laser maze. Each activity offers a practical way to understand scientific concepts.

Alongside its permanent exhibition, Experimentarium runs science shows and guided tours. During these sessions, visitors can learn more about scientific phenomena, discover how the exhibits work and see how the laws of physics apply to everyday life. Guided tours must be booked in advance.
