The Theater of War

A stage for Ukrainian soldiers, veterans and their families
Theaters

About The Theater of War

The Theater of War is a unique artistic and social project where veterans, active-duty soldiers, their families and volunteers step onto the stage to share their own stories. Many productions are autobiographical, based on personal memories, frontline experience and conversations between comrades.

The theater works in documentary and social-psychological drama. Each performance is an honest look at returning from war, family relationships, PTSD, inner struggles and the challenge of rebuilding a peaceful life. For audiences, it’s a chance to hear the truth directly, without media filters. For veterans, it becomes a form of therapy and a way to take back their voice.

The project builds a dialogue between those who fought and those who stayed behind, turning war from distant news into a human experience.

Tickets start at 400 UAH.
