About Rusanivka Embankment
Rusanivka Embankment is a cosy waterfront spot on Kyiv’s Left Bank, perfect for a relaxed walk along the river.
For almost 2 kilometres, you’ll pass cafés, riverside benches and small gazebos overlooking the water. In summer, people paddleboard and rent pedal boats, while in winter many simply stroll and warm up with hot chocolate or mulled wine. There are bike paths for active visitors and a large playground with swings, climbing frames and sandboxes.
If you get hungry along the way, it’s easy to find something tasty — the embankment is lined with bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants.
