Museum of Contemporary Art of Ukraine
About Museum of Contemporary Art of Ukraine
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Ukraine is the only private collection in the country that brings together works by artists from different regions of Ukraine from the 1930s to today. It offers a look at how Ukrainian artists experimented, challenged conventions and shaped the visual language of independent Ukraine.
The museum features works by avant-garde artists, nonconformists and contemporary creators whose pieces question established norms and invite reflection. The collection includes more than 5,000 works of painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative art, making it a good destination for those who enjoy art, new ideas and open discussion.
Plan around 1.5–2 hours to walk through the galleries, look closely at the works and get a feel for Ukrainian art of the last decades.
Admission is free.
