About Feofaniya park
Feofaniya Park is a protected garden and park landmark in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi District. The park covers an area of 152 hectares.
The area of today’s park was first mentioned in 1471 under the name Lazarivshchyna. It received its current name in the 19th century, after Bishop Feofan Shyianov, who lived in the area.
The park is known for its diverse flora, including centuries-old oak trees and more than 80 species of trees and shrubs. It also features ornamental ponds, cascading pools, natural springs and well-maintained walking paths.
One of the park’s main landmarks is the St. Panteleimon Cathedral, an architectural monument dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The cathedral is an active church, so visitors can go inside and see its interior.
