About Dynamo Stadium
Dynamo Stadium has been a symbol of Ukrainian football for more than 90 years. Located a short walk from Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station, it seats around 17,000 spectators and regularly hosts the home matches of Dynamo Kyiv. In 2018, the stadium hosted the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Interesting facts about Dynamo Stadium
- The stadium is named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi, one of the most decorated football coaches in history. A monument in his honor stands next to the stadium;
- Legendary Ballon d’Or winners Oleh Blokhin, Ihor Belanov and Andriy Shevchenko played here;
- In 1967, the first heated outdoor swimming pool in Ukraine opened on the stadium grounds. People could swim there even in winter, and it quickly became one of Kyiv’s favorite recreational spots.
Stadium tours are available by prior booking:
- Groups of 1–10 people: 2,000 UAH
- Groups over 10 people: 200 UAH per person
