Landscape Alley
About Landscape Alley
Landscape Alley is a charming walkway near Old Kyiv Hill. Legend says this was once the residence of Prince Kyi, the city’s founder. Today it’s a colourful path filled with mosaic sculptures and whimsical characters. You’ll meet fairy-tale animals, figures from Alice in Wonderland and even a 30-metre mosaic “centipede cat” that has become a local favourite.
It’s a lovely spot for a slow walk, sunset watching or simply enjoying views over the city. Children love the playgrounds with slides, swings and animal-shaped benches.
In warm weather, the lawns along the alley host open-air film screenings and picnics. And just a short walk away are the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, Andriivskyi Descent and St Andrew’s Church — all key Kyiv attractions.
