Zhovtnevyi Palace
About Zhovtnevyi Palace
Zhovtnevyi Palace is one of Kyiv’s most recognizable concert venues, standing on a hill above Independence Square. Today it is associated with music, art and major cultural events, although its past was far from simple: during the Soviet era, the building was used as a prison.
Now fully restored, the palace operates as a cultural center with an extensive programme. The main hall, which seats over 2,000 guests, hosts concerts, ballets, theatre premieres, stand-up shows, festivals and international forums. Both global stars and leading Ukrainian artists have performed on its stage.
The location is another highlight. From the hill, you get a panoramic view of Independence Square and Khreshchatyk, making it a great spot for photos before the show.
