NĂM
Modern Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant
About NĂM
Just a five-minute walk from NSC Olimpiyskiy and Olimpiiska metro station, NĂM is a modern Vietnamese restaurant created by Colombian-born Ukrainian chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo. The space features a refined, stylish interior and a menu inspired by authentic Vietnamese flavors.
The menu at NĂM features Asian cuisine dishes, particularly Vietnamese, partially adapted for European tastes. Among them are dim sums — steamed dumplings with various fillings, rolls, sushi and sashimi, crispy nems, tartares, salads, soups, noodles, as well as main dishes with meat and fish. Bartenders at the restaurant will prepare delicious classic and signature cocktails for you.
What makes NĂM special?
- “NĂM” translates from Vietnamese as “five.” This number is significant in Asian philosophy, as it symbolizes the five elements of nature: earth, water, fire, metal, and wood. Each element corresponds to a specific taste in Vietnamese cuisine: earth — sweet, water — salty, fire — bitter, metal — spicy, wood — sour. These flavors are combined in the dishes, and the elements are reflected in the restaurant’s interior.
- From Monday to Friday, between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, NĂM serves business lunches that include a salad, main dish, and soup of your choice at a single price of 607 UAH. Rice or rice chips can be ordered separately as a side for an additional charge.
- Live music is occasionally played at the venue.
