Spelta

Located in the historic Podil district, just steps from Kontraktova Ploshcha metro station, Spelta is a bakery-bistro that celebrates the art of Ukrainian breadmaking while pushing culinary boundaries with creative, elevated dishes. Signature items include Caesar salad with Podil-style meatballs, truffle buckwheat porridge, and an indulgent take on luxury banosh.

Mornings at Spelta begin with breakfast from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by an afternoon menu from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy the “Must Try” selections — standouts like Tête de Moine cheese with figs, or curated bread pairings with butter, red caviar, olive oil, and Maldon salt.

The bistro also offers breakfast sets for at-home enjoyment, gift certificates for breakfast or dinner experiences, and a collection of signature merchandise.
