VDNG

VDNG (National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine”) is one of the largest cultural and recreational spaces in Kyiv. It covers 287 hectares and features over 150 buildings, 19 of which are listed as cultural heritage sites of Ukraine. VDNG is located near the Vystavkovyi Tsentr metro station, making it easily accessible from anywhere in the city.

Things to do at VDNG

In summer

• Spend time with the whole family at the SkyPark rope course. There are tracks for both adults and kids from 3 years old. For those who complete the challenges, there are exciting adventures like zip lines, the SkyLine descent, or a free-fall experience with QuickJump.
• Visit the Swing Park — an eco-friendly space with over 70 swings and a giant trampoline.
• Relax at the open-air swimming pool Pier 39, designed like an urban beach. It includes a 25-meter pool and a 13-meter kids’ pool with a water slide.
• Attend Atlas Weekend — one of the largest music festivals in Europe.

In winter enjoy a magical family experience at “Winter Country” — a festive wonderland with winter activities for all ages, including:

• one of the largest skating rinks in Ukraine (2,500 sq.m),
• a Christmas fair, Santa’s Residence, and themed photo areas,
• food courts, mulled wine, and festive treats,
• the LUNAPARK amusement park with a Venetian carousel, Ferris wheel, Alpine coaster, and more.

Year-round

• Visit the MIDGARD equestrian club, offering individual riding lessons and horseback rides through the forest.
• Find peace in the greenhouse and tropical farm “Planet of Butterflies.”
• Meet llamas, alpacas, and other furry animals at the Animal Park petting zoo.
• Explore themed exhibitions and interactive installations focused on science, art, and technology. These include the Museum of Science, Guitar Museum, Upside Down House, and other engaging spaces for both kids and adults.

On the VDNG grounds, you’ll also find the HayLoft 2.0 grill restaurant, family restaurant Praha, and coffee shops DOT and KITCHEN&GARDEN — all great for relaxing with friends, your partner, or the whole family.
