About Olimpiyskiy Stadium

The NSC Olimpiyskiy is the main sports venue in Ukraine and one of the biggest stadiums in Europe, seating around 70,000 people. With more than a century of history, it has hosted many major events, including:

The UEFA Champions League Final and Europa League matches
World Cup qualifiers and Premier League games
The final of EURO 2012, which brought fans from across the globe
Concerts by Madonna, Shakira, Depeche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, KISS and Dua Lipa
The 2019 presidential debate between Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Because of the war, the stadium is temporarily closed to visitors, yet it remains a major symbol of Kyiv’s sporting and cultural scene.
