Muromets Park
About Muromets Park
Muromets Park is a huge recreation area spread across part of Trukhaniv Island and Muromets Island, which gave the park its name. At the entrance you’ll be greeted by a monument to Illya Muromets, a legendary Slavic folk hero. Beyond that, the real fun begins: sports grounds, beaches, bike paths, nature and more open space than you’ll know what to do with.
This is one of Kyiv’s main hubs for outdoor activities. You can go kayaking, SUP boarding, wakeboarding or water skiing, play paintball, lasertag or volleyball in X-Park. There’s also a ropes course and a quad track, so boredom isn’t really an option.
Prefer a slow day out? Head to the beach area with loungers, gazebos and BBQ spots.
It’s an easy way to spend an active day in nature without leaving Kyiv.
