Kyivska Perepichka has been serving its famous street food for over 40 years, right in the city center near TSUM. It’s closely tied to Khreshchatyk Street and is one of Kyiv’s most recognized food spots.
There’s only one item on the menu: a sausage wrapped in yeast dough and deep-fried. Simple, affordable, and tasty — it’s become a true Kyiv classic. The place is regularly featured on TripAdvisor, Foursquare, and Lonely Planet, and earned a Certificate of Excellence from 2015 to 2018.
Perepichka is take-out only, with no seating or terrace, and lines are common, especially at lunchtime and in the evening. They move quickly, though — and the wait is worth it.
