About Mezhyhiria Residence
Mezhyhiria is a 140-hectare park complex located in the village of Novi Petrivtsi in Kyiv Oblast. Today, it is one of the largest recreational destinations near Kyiv.
The park features tree-lined paths, lakes, orchards, greenhouses, collections of ornamental and rare plants, observation decks, and a promenade overlooking the Kyiv Reservoir.
Its non-contact animal area is home to deer, ostriches, donkeys, goats, llamas, and other wild and domestic animals. Feeding animals and birds in the park is prohibited.
Visitors can book a guided tour of the grounds or visit Honka, the former residence of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who lived there until 2014. Honka can only be visited as part of a guided tour. Tours in English and other foreign languages are available by booking.
The park can be explored on foot or by rented bicycle or electric scooter. Several self-guided routes of varying lengths are available.
