Medieval combat World championship

Kyiv hosts many exciting events, including world-class ones. One of the most spectacular was the IMCF World Championship in Medieval Combat, which took place in May 2019 at “Kyiv Rus Park.”

This was the largest sporting event of 2019 in Ukraine, where over 1,000 fighters from 40 countries gathered at the Kyiv arena. Athletes wore heavy metal knight armor and fought for the world championship in authentic medieval duels.

The most spectacular were mass battles from “50v50” to “300v300” fighters, which took place every evening from Thursday to Sunday around 7:00 PM. Thousands of spectators were able to feel like they were in the era of knight tournaments, watching uncompromising battles in the historical setting of the park near Kyiv.
