The National Chornobyl Museum in Kyiv is a research and cultural institution that preserves and shares materials related to the Chornobyl nuclear disaster. Located at 1 Khoryva Lane, near Kontraktova Ploshcha metro station, the museum tells the story of the catastrophe, its causes, consequences, and ongoing legacy.

- The collection features around 7,000 items, including declassified documents, maps, photographs, and artifacts from the abandoned villages of the Polissia region. Visitors can explore household items and cultural elements that preserve the memory of communities lost after the disaster.

- The museum is suitable for adults and older students, especially those interested in history and environmental issues.
- The museum also holds temporary exhibitions, lectures, and book presentations related to the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, its past, and its future.
- Guided tours in English are available, as well as audioguides for international visitors.

Closed on the last Tuesday of each month for maintenance.
