About Arirang
Arirang is Kyiv’s very first Korean restaurant — a family-owned spot that’s been serving authentic dishes for over 20 years. Beloved by locals, it’s just a two-minute walk from Politekhnichnyi Instytut metro station.
The menu is full of classic Korean comfort food: rice dishes, meats, seafood, over 20 kinds of soups, homemade mandu dumplings, Korean BBQ, and traditional desserts. The drink list includes Korean sodas, kombucha, tea, coffee, soju, makgeolli, wine, and sparkling options — there’s something for everyone.
What makes Arirang special?
- The head chef, an ethnic Korean, has been with Arirang for more than a decade. Every dish is prepared with care, staying true to traditional flavors and offering a warm, homemade feel.
- One of the restaurant’s highlights is the Korean BBQ experience. Choose your favorite meat — beef, pork, or chicken marinated in-house — and grill it yourself at the table. Served with fresh vegetables, garlic, gochujang sauce, and crisp lettuce for wrapping, it’s a fun and flavorful experience to share.
- Weekday Lunches. From Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Arirang offers Tosirak — a Korean-style lunchbox that includes rice, meat, side dishes (banchan), and soup. Choose from three set menus, each at a fixed price of 229 UAH.
Before you leave, don’t forget to check out the restaurant’s mini Korean grocery corner — stocked with instant noodles, ramyeon, tteokbokki, seaweed snacks, candies, and teas to bring the taste of Korea home with you.
