About Fomin Botanical Garden
Fomin Botanical Garden is a green oasis in central Kyiv and one of the oldest botanical gardens in Ukraine. Established in 1839, it is part of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and serves as a unique research and conservation site.
Covering 22.5 hectares, the garden features rare plant species from various climate zones. Its main attraction is the greenhouse, home to exceptional tropical and subtropical plants — including the tallest palm trees in Europe.
